National Alliance on Mental Illness Southwestern Illinois (NAMI SWI) — 7-8:30 p.m. Online via Zoom. Virtual support meetings for family members and other caregivers of individuals with mental illness. Meetings are peer-led and rely on the knowledge and experiences of the group to help one another. Madeleine Peyroux8 p.m. The Sheldon Concert Hall, 3648 Washington Blvd., St. Louis. Much like songbird Edith Piaf, Madeleine Peyroux spent her teenage years busking the busy streets of Paris. Just like the "little sparrow," Peyroux befriended the city's street musicians and made its Latin quarter her first performing stage. Years later, Peyroux would cite iconic Piaf as an influence on her music and record a rendition of the classic "La Vie En Rose," soulfully capturing the tune's romanticism and melancholy. thesheldon.org
