BREMERTON — Beginning 4:30 p.m.July 24, the public will be allowed to see the completed Kitsap County Crisis Triage Center, which is set to open its doors Aug. 1.

The triage center is operated by Kitsap Mental Health Services and will offer five days of round-the-clock intensive support for up to 16 adults referred to the center for short-term crisis services. It has taken more than a decade of collaboration on the part of leadership from various sectors including law enforcement, mental health and substance use providers, public health, hospital, emergency, primary care provider organizations, the Kitsap County Department of Human Services and the Salish Behavioral Health Organization.
