Mental health first aid course will be held at the Clifton Public Library, 292 Piaget Ave, on Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., sponsored by the Mental Health Association in Passaic County.

Sometimes first aid isn't a bandage, or CPR or calling 911. Sometimes first aid is you. A person you know could be experiencing a mental health or substance use problem. Learn an action plan to help. Learn how to help a friend, family member, coworker or neighbor in need.

Cost is $75 for general public and $40 for students with identification.
